| New Barrier System increases safety The Rite-Hite Aftermarket Corporation introduced the GuardRite SB3 Barrier System which makes interior loading docks and other locations of plants safer by defining and separating the areas. The GuardRite SB3 Barrier System is constructed from 6-inch high nylon restraining straps. Its modular design allows the system to easily define large walkways and work areas in a plant. The SB3 Barrier System is available in a 43-inch high double strap restraining system, and comes complete with attachment and anchoring hardware. Prominent yellow 6-inch tall straps provide high visibility while absorbing impacts from material handling equipment. Safety yellow powder coated 5-inch by 5-inch 3/16-inch steel posts provide restraining strap support and make a rugged barrier that is able to withstand 10,000-pound fork truck traveling at 4 mph without damage to the barrier system. A manually operated storage system keeps straps neatly organized when access to the area is required. An 8-inch high handle rotates to place straps on rollers that quickly and efficiently keep the restraining straps away from fork truck traffic. Available in a single post design, the GuardRite SB3 can be installed as a pedestrian barrier system that helps keep visitors or pedestrians out of areas that have fork truck traffic. The modular design of the GuardRite SB3 Barrier System makes it easy to install. Four three-quarter inch by five and one-quarter inch anchor bolts mount the posts to the plant floor, making installation complete and minimizing disruption to your operation. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
