| Barratt is one of 'Festive Fives' Barratt, Britain's housebuilder, has been recognised by the Government advisory body CABE (Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment) as one of only five private-sector companies "whose forward-thinking and motivation has led to better buildings and public spaces." The annual CABE awards - known as the 'Festive Fives' - select just five individuals, five public sector organisations and five private-sector companies for recognition. In the private-sector five, Barratt is the only housebuilder. This is the latest in a string of recent successes for the Barratt Group, which was voted Major Housebuilder of the Year in the influential Building Awards.
