| Owens Corning develops new Cultured Stone textures Owens Corning introduces new choices to its line of Cultured Stone and Cultured Brick veneer products - a new stone texture, a new architectural trim collection and five new colors in the Cultured Brick line of used brick veneer. In grand architectural styles, details are used liberally to touch multiple senses. The raised lines created with custom stone trim, for example, not only attract the eye but beg to be touched. New Monticello Trim Collection, architectural trim stone products created to add dimension and old-world finish to any exterior or interior wall, window, door or entryway. The complete line of base/trim molding, watertables and sills, window and door trim stones, chair rail molding and keystones creates nearly endless opportunities for expression. They're lightweight and less expensive than trim products made from natural stone. The Monticello Collection comes in two colors, Gray and Tawny, complementing other Cultured Stone and Cultured Brick products. Monticello also is ideal for use with stucco and exterior insulated finish systems. Doubling the choices for adding style and personality to the home, five designer-inspired colors have been added to the Cultured Brick line. Used alone or artistically blended with a Cultured Stone texture, the colors tell a story of time or place: - High Desert: burgundy-tinged terra cottas with plum and chocolate accents recall the grand architectural styles of days gone by. - Bucks County: grey-gold and tan combined with trace elements found in natural stone, this color suggests earthy permanence. - San Francisco: charcoal and brown with moss and plum tones evokes memories of historic settings. - Horton Bay: the unexpected combination of russet, soft gray, and plum helps tie any structure to its surroundings. - Chardonnay: the warm combination of camel and rose suggests late-day sun on golden wheat fields. New Pro-Fit Alpine Ledgestone suits styles ranging from mountain rustic to urban sophisticated. Cleverly disguised within this Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired stacked ledge stone is patented Pro-Fit engineering. Individual stones are grouped to form modular components, making it the fastest Cultured Stone texture to install. Pieces are 4" high and 8", 12" and 20" in length, with matching corners. It's available in three colors: - Harvest: a fall color mix of gray, brown and subtle red hues. - Pheasant: an earthy blend of khaki, olive, golden yellow and plum. - Chardonnay: composed of rich camel and rose tones, a perennial favorite. write your comments about the article :: © 2006 Construction News :: home page |
