| AsiaWorld-Expo is opened The International Exhibition Centre Asiaworld-expo was inaugurated in Hong Kong. After completing the HK$2.35 billion design-build project (250 million euros) in just 28 months, Bouygues Construction subsidiary Dragages Hong Kong has started operating the centre for a period of 25 years. This project was carried out on behalf of the Hong Kong SAR government together with Airport Authority Hong Kong and a local private financial partner (Yu Ming Investments Ltd).
