| New high performance composite from Norplex-Micarta Norplex-Micarta announces the NP571HT, a high performance composite providing mechanical strength at continuous temperatures of up to 210°C. The high-temperature characteristics make the NP571HT ideal for numerous uses in power generation, oil & gas, and aerospace applications. NP571HT also provides machinability, dimensional stability, and creep resistance. In use, the product maintains its physical, mechanical, and electrical properties for up to a decade. NP571HT is manufactured from multiple plies of woven fiberglass, which is saturated with epoxy resin and compressed under heat and pressure.
