| VCE electric venting skylight  Designed for curb mounted installations, the VCE electric venting skylight from Velux America Inc. is the daylighting solution for overhead applications. It brings in abundant natural light and with the touch of a button, opens to let fresh air in. And if you forget to close it, the VCE also closes automatically in case of rain. The VCE curb mounted skylight comes with a pre-installed concealed motor, control system, and two rain sensors that automatically close your skylight during inclement weather. It also comes pre-wired for sunscreening options.The VCE electric venting skylight opens and closes quickly and quietly from anywhere in the room using a standard slimline remote control. The WLI 160 wall mounted keypad and the WLF 111 interface to home automation systems are also available. The VCE skylight is designed for quick installation on site-built curbs. It installs right out of the box using a single 14 gauge hard wire that connects into a standard junction box unlike other motorized skylights. 20 feet of wire is included. Factory applied gaskets seal out wind and water to create a weathertight installation. Velux ECL step flashing for curb mounted skylights is available for shingles and other low-profile roofing materials only. Custom flashings are required for other roofing materials. The VCE skylight is constructed using an interior wood frame that insulates and strengthens the unit and has a pre-finished white frame. The VCE also features a pre-installed operator that eliminates the need for any interior attachments.
