New PS Series saw from Multiquip

The new PS Series saw with patented Stay Level Handles from Multiquip takes the tough work out of concrete cutting. This walk-behind saw integrates unique, adjustable handles that remain level regardless of the saw’s operating position, improving ergonomics and productivity. The stay level handles minimize operator fatigue and significantly reduce the risk of back injury. Featuring a low-maintenance design, the PS Series pavement saw is tailor-made for professional cutters engaged in road work and repair plus those on any job where high-production cutting is required.

The maximum blade capacity is 36 inches and the saw is driven by a fuel-efficient 60-horsepower Deutz diesel engine. The unit is 34 inches wide without outer blade flanges attached and it weighs 1,700 pounds.

The PS Series pavement saw features a patent-pending clutchless bladeshaft disengaging system whereby with the flick of a switch the bladeshaft rotation can be stopped or started while the engine is running. This improves safety for the saw operator and others within the immediate area while eliminating the risk of damage to the saw or blade.

The saw also showcases a vibration control mounting system to cut handlebar vibration and related injuries all while extending component life. In addition, automatic parking brakes for improved safety and an electrical depth stop to lift and control the cutting depth come standard.
