Jacobs received contracts for work in Denver and Rotterdam

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced that a subsidiary company received a contract from the city and county of Denver to provide project management services for the new $378 million justice center in Denver's historic Civic Center District.

The project represents over 750, 000 square feet of new construction including a 35-courtroom courthouse and an adjacent 1, 500-bed detention facility (each of which features a design from Signature architects), a post office building, and a 600-car parking structure.

Jacobs also announced that a subsidiary company has received a contract from Netherlands Refining Company (Nerefco) to provide engineering, design, and field services for the Profitable Oil Movement System at Nerefco's Europoort refinery in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Nerefco is a joint venture between BP (69 percent) and Chevron (31 percent).

Jacobs is executing the work from their offices in Leiden, the Netherlands, and Mumbai, India, in partnership with Nerefco and Yokogawa (the control systems supplier).
