| Jacobs received contracts for work in Denver and Rotterdam Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced that a subsidiary company received a contract from the city and county of Denver to provide project management services for the new $378 million justice center in Denver's historic Civic Center District. The project represents over 750, 000 square feet of new construction including a 35-courtroom courthouse and an adjacent 1, 500-bed detention facility (each of which features a design from Signature architects), a post office building, and a 600-car parking structure. Jacobs also announced that a subsidiary company has received a contract from Netherlands Refining Company (Nerefco) to provide engineering, design, and field services for the Profitable Oil Movement System at Nerefco's Europoort refinery in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Nerefco is a joint venture between BP (69 percent) and Chevron (31 percent).
