Under optimized measurement conditions, authentic measurements of plastic films with a thickness of only 8 µm are possible without problems. Like the basic IPE 140, the IPE 140/34 is a highly accurate digital pyrometer. It is operating at a special spectral range of 3.43 µm. This enables the precise measurement of plastic films.3 different focusable optics are available for optimal match of the instrument to the application.
