| Bechtel was appointed development manager for Crossrail project Cross London Rail Links Ltd (CLRL), the company leading the Crossrail project to build a new rail line across London, has announced the selection of Bechtel Ltd as its Development Manager after a 4-month selection process. Bechtel was one of six finalists for the development management work. It will manage a team of design and cost consultants that will help produce a reference design for the proposed line. Further appointments of advisors will be made in the New Year in respect of other consultants and services.
