| New Caddy Speed Link products Caddy Speed Link is a cULus-listed universal support system from Erico that supports up to 45 kg with 2 mm wire rope and 90 kg with 3 mm wire rope. The support system features all-steel construction for superior fire resistance and meets the fire rating requirements of DIN 4102-2 for 30 minutes at 30% of rated load. Caddy Speed Link LD has a 1.5 mm wire rope that holds up to 20 kg. The universal support system comes standard with galvanized wire rope, but is also available with stainless steel wire rope for applications where a higher level of corrosion resistance is required. Caddy Speed Link LD also meets the fire rating requirements of DIN 4102-2 for 30 minutes at 30% of rated load. Both Caddy Speed Link and Caddy Speed Link LD are cost-effective alternatives to jack chain, threaded rod and associated hardware. These efficient systems reduce installation time, inventory and shipping costs with their small, lightweight design. They can be used as stand-alone systems or with an assortment of Caddy Fasteners. A strong, yet flexible, wire rope with a specially engineered hook at one end serves as the means of support. Caddy Speed Link’s steel locking device ensures stability and allows for adjustment of the supported object both during and after installation. The lock can be released with the included release tool or with a small screwdriver. Caddy Speed Link LD has a small, aesthetically pleasing locking device that minimizes visual impact. This low-profile stainless-steel device ensures stability and allows for additional adjustment after wire insertion. A small screwdriver releases the lock for fast installation adjustments. The systems install without drilling and allow objects to be hung at a variety of angles. Caddy Speed Link LD supports lighting fixtures, speakers, alarm sensors, signage and pipes, among other things. Caddy Speed Link also supports cable tray, ductwork, electrical busway and strut profiles. Both Caddy Speed Link and Caddy Speed Link LD have convenient plastic sleeves that keep the wire rope looped up until the contractor is ready to install.
