Aecom and Edaw contracted an ideal marriage

Aecom, the global design and professional technical services company, has merged with San Francisco-based Edaw, Inc., an urban planning and design, landscape architecture, economics, and cultural and environmental services firm practicing worldwide.

The merger combines Edaw’s front-end planning expertise with Aecom’s design and program and construction management capabilities. Edaw will operate as an Aecom company under the Edaw name.

Aecom has 22, 000 employees and $2.5 billion in annual revenue, and the company serves clients in the transportation, environmental, and facilities markets worldwide. Edaw has 1, 200 employees, $150 million in annual revenue, and serves a broad range of commercial and government clients.

Edaw Chief Executive Officer and President Joe Brown and Chair Barbara Faga will continue to manage the company. “This is an ideal marriage,” commented Brown.
