| Alfred McAlpine Signs Ј75M Defence Contract Alfred McAlpine plc, the support services group, announces that it has signed the facilities maintenance services contract with Babcock DynCorp in relation to their Ј500m Regional Prime Contract covering the Ministry of Defence's estate in the East of England. As a key service provider to the Babcock DynCorp joint venture, Alfred McAlpine will deliver facilities maintenance services in excess of Ј75m in support of the contract over an initial seven-year contract period commencing in the second quarter of 2006.
