| Technip awarded polypropylene contract for Petrochina Dushanzi complex Headquartered in Paris, Technip, in association with Innovene as licensor, has been awarded by Petrochina International a contract for two lines of polypropylene for Petrochina Dushanzi Petrochemical Company's new complex in the Xinjiang Province, China. The contract, worth over 50 millions US $ for Technip, covers the basic and front-end engineering, the procurement of key equipment and material and the technical assistance for construction and commissioning. The facility will be designed based on Innovene technologies to produce 550, 000 tons/year of polypropylene. The contract will be carried out by Technip's operations and engineering center (OEC) in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) with the support of the Lyon OEC (France).
