| Operating outside the telehandler cab Mustang Manufacturing Co., Inc. has added the option of radio remote boom control to several Mustang Telehandler models. The introduction of this option to a Telehandler virtually eliminates the need for a helping-hand on Telehandler applications, freeing crew for other tasks. The Mustang Telehandler Radio Remote Boom Control system allows the Telehandler boom to be raised and lowered, extended and retracted – all from the remote control pendant. Operators can also shut-down or start-up the engine with the remote. Now available on Mustang Telehandler models 742, 944 and 1155, the radio remote boom control system is a separate option, meaning buyers do not have to purchase any additional options, such as a work platform attachment, to have the remote control added to their units. The remote control is compact, portable and easy to use. It features self-diagnostics and Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum technology, which was initially developed for military applications. FHSS devices concentrate their full power into a very narrow signal that randomly hops from frequency to frequency within a designated radio band, which eliminates the risk of interference with any other radio-wave dependent mechanisms that might be in the area. write your comments about the article :: © 2005 Construction News :: home page |
