| Light+Building 2006 press conference in Vilnius  On 30th November press conference on Light+Building 2006, the International Trade Fair for Architecture and Technology, took place in Vilnius. This event of a world scale will be held April 23-27, 2006 in Frankfurt/Main.Director of fair Light+Building Maria Hasselman has told about the most important parties of forthcoming fair and its differences from Light+Building 2004. The fact has been especially noted that in comparison with the previous fair on Light+Building 2004 the number of visitors from Lithuania and Latvia was more approximately two and five times, accordingly. Organizers of Light+Building hope for essential increase in number of visitors from Belarus and Estonia. Project-manager Thomas Mueller from the “Home and Building Automation + Management” Division of the VDMA in Frankfurt has in detail told about the market and technological prospects of building automation. In the near future, additional activization of this market will be stimulated by new European directives on energy efficiency of buildings.
