| Governor Pataki Announces Robert Douglass As Remaining Appointment To LMDC Board Governor George E. Pataki announced the appointment of Robert Douglass, Chairman of the Alliance for Downtown New York and the Downtown-Lower Manhattan Association, to the Board of Directors of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC). Robert Douglass will join the Governor’s seven appointees Robert P. Balachandran, Managing Director in the Public Finance Department at Bear Stearns and the former President and Chief Executive Officer of the Hudson River Park Trust, Charles A. Gargano, Chairman of the Empire State Development Corporation and Vice-Chairman of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Thomas S. Johnson, retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of GreenPoint Bank and GreenPoint Financial Corporation, James Kallstrom, the Governor’s Senior Advisor for Counter-Terrorism and the former head of the FBI’s New York division, Edward J. Malloy, President of the Building and Construction Trades Council of Greater New York, John C. Whitehead and Madelyn Wils, former Chairperson of Community Board 1. The LMDC is a joint State-City corporation formed by the Governor and the Mayor to oversee the rebuilding and revitalization of Lower Manhattan. The LMDC Board, chaired by John C.
