| Acciona Energía to build the largest windpark in Ontario Acciona Energía will build a 76 MW windpark in Canada following the decision by the Government of Ontario to award the development to the joint venture on an equal basis with the Canadian group Suncor Energy. The facility will represent an investment of 118 million euros. The Ripley windpark, located east of Lake Huron in the municipality of Huron-Kinloss, will have thirty-eight 2 MW wind turbines and will produce electricity equivalent to the consumption of 22, 000 Canadian households. The windpark has the highest installed capacity of any such facility built to date by Acciona Energía in the world.
