| New Retailers Coming To Canary Wharf Canary Wharf Group has recently exchanged contracts with a variety of new retailers including The Idea Store, Scribbler, Costa Coffee and EscapeTravel. Scribbler is an independent card shop and has recently opened on the concourse level of One Canada Square in a 400sq ft unit. Natwest, a new addition to Canary Wharf which opened on 8th November; this branch can be found at 20 Canada Square. Costa Coffee is new to the estate and will be opening a 1, 000 sq ft unit offering top quality coffee and refreshments near the Waitrose Food & Home store. Escape Travel Agency will be opening a 1, 000sq ft unit in Cabot Place and will be different from a standard high street travel agency. The shop will be designed to resemble an aircraft cabin with an innovative window display system (the only one of its kind in the country) showing late offers. The agency has designed a new service for the time-poor workers at Canary Wharf. Escape 2U means a travel advisor will come to your office for a one-to-one consultation or will meet with you in the VIP area in the shop. Starbucks is opening a new 250sq ft kiosk in Churchill Place. The Idea Store will be located over 11, 000sq ft in Churchill Place and will offer a wide range of courses for all ages and interests, plus all the services normally associated with libraries, from great books to DVDs and CDs. Provided by London Borough of Tower Hamlets in partnership with London Metropolitan University, the store will offer advice on finding the right course for you and a programme of events and activities for all. The Post Office will be opening its second branch in One Churchill Place covering 1, 400sq ft. The official opening ceremony of the Canary Wharf Ice Rink will take place at 6.00pm on Monday 5th December. Canary Wharf now comprises 33 office buildings and over 200 shops, bars and restaurants within three retail malls.
