Thermique heated glass technology

Engineered Glass Products’ Thermique heated glass technology has won a 2005 “Best of What’s New” Award in the home technology category from Popular Science magazine. Thermique is a scientific breakthrough in radiant heating. The technology transforms ordinary glass into an efficient, elegant heat source.

This is accomplished through the use of a proprietary conductive coating applied to the glass during fabrication. A specially designed controller supplies an electric current to the coating, which heats the glass with precise control. Heated glass towel warmers are among the first commercial products to take advantage of Thermique technology, designed exclusively by Engineered Glass Products. In addition to towel warmers, Thermique technology is being applied to architectural windows, oven ranges, warm food display cases, and more.

All Thermique components are UL Recognized, and the towel warmers and architectural windows are UL Approved.
