| Turner Awarded $115.7 Million Contract For New Research Building In Chicago Turner Construction Company’s Chicago office has been awarded a $115.7 million contract by the University of Chicago to provide construction management services for a new 325, 759-sq.-ft. Center for Biomedical Discovery in Chicago, Ill. The building will be part of the University’s Biological Sciences Division and is designed to provide new research space for the Cancer Center, Pediatrics and Medicine departments. The research center will also include Divisional Core Laboratories, a Vivarium facility, clinical offices, a multi-purpose area and support spaces.
