| Chinese businessmen inspect Olympic London The official Chinese business delegation in the UK for the Chinese President's state visit, visited the Olympic Park site and the London Organising Committee's Headquarters. The business delegation from China was briefed on London's plans to regenerate the East End of London through the Olympic Games and met with London 2012 officials who outlined the progress London has made since it was announced 2012 host city in July. The delegation saw early work on the 2012 Olympic Park site including the construction on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link which will open in 2007. London has Europe's largest Chinese community and many mainland Chinese companies choosing London's East End to establish their businesses.
