| Bladen DuPont plant to produce safety glass product Increased worldwide demand for safety glass will mean increased production at a Bladen industry. DuPont announced that the Bladen plant will produce some of the interior layers of SentryGlas Plus, a safety glass used in office and residential windows. The product will be made in the newly completed production facilities at the Bladen DuPont plant. Originally produced for use in hurricane-prone areas, SentryGlas Plus is now used in embassies, high-rise buildings, handrails, floors, and overhead lights and windows.
