| Lumastrobe visual Freeze Alert alarm model FZ-52 Lumastrobe Warning Lights has introduced a new Freeze Alert battery-powered warning light. This produces an early warning signal indicating a probable failure of the heating system that could cause freezing pipes and water damage. It could also indicate a low temperature which could effect animals or plant life, as well. Utilizing D-Cell batteries, the model FZ-52 provides 60 red double flashes per minute for over 400 hours. The unit draws no power until the preset temperature setting is reached. Comprised of long life, high output LED lamps positioned within an inner diffusing Fresnel lens with outer protective red dome. The signal can be seen over ¼ mile away in daylight and ¾ mile at night. The Freeze Flash comes with an adjustable thermostat in the case that can be set over a range of 35° to 100° F. Since the unit is independent of line (120V) power, simply place the Freeze Flash in a window where it can easily be seen at all times by a neighbor or watchman. The unit is 6-½" long, 5" high, 3" in width and weighs 1-½lbs with D-Cell batteries. Ideal for primary home, vacation home, condo or any facility that contains water pipes or property that could be damaged by a freezing situation. One of the largest insurance claim categories is water damage from frozen pipes. write your comments about the article :: © 2005 Construction News :: home page |
