Portable Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters

Expanding on its commitment to electrical safety, McGill is now offering a cost-effective line of portable Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCIs) that instantly safeguard operators of power tools, drills, washers and other electrical equipment from the dangers of shock and accidental start-ups. Compact, rugged and lightweight, McGill GFCIs are for use on indoor or outdoor jobsites with a wide variety of electrical devices to provide superior protection in 3-wire circuits. Contractors can choose from six unique 15 and 20 amp, 120 and 240V, 60Hz models, including an 11" cord set, tri-tap receptacles, in-line GFCIs, and a GFCI protected quad box.

UL Listed and CSA Approved, these simple-to-use GFCIs interrupt electrical power when loads have a potentially lethal ground current in excess of 4-6 milliamps. Manual reset of the trip indicator prevents unmonitored equipment from restarting following a GFCI condition or a power failure.

Another benefit making the McGill GFCIs easier to work with is a built-in suppresser that keeps radio frequency interference from nuisance tripping the device. Test and reset buttons are also recessed to protect against accidental actuation.

McGill GFCIs are built tough to withstand accidental drops and other damaging impact typical of manufacturing, construction and industrial use.
