New EYE Multi-Metal Ignitek™ “Protected” lamps

To respond to the growing demand for energy saving, high lumen output lamps for Open Fixtures, EYE Lighting introduces its new Multi-Metal Ignitek Protected 360W and 400W lamps for use in Open Fixtures. With the addition of Protected lamps, EYE Multi-Metal Ignitek lamps are available for use with open fixtures in retail big box stores, sports facilities, warehouses, and industrial high bay, or low bay applications. Energy-saving, high lumen output Ignitek Protected lamps provide Pulse Start performance on standard metal halide ballast systems.
The innovative Ignitek 360W Protected lamp, for use in Open Fixtures, is excellent for upgrading facility lighting and saving energy without the initial cost associated with a new lighting system.

The lamp, which operates on existing 400W metal halide ballasts, saves 40 watts of power per lamp compared to standard 400W lamps. This can equal energy savings up to $80 over the life of each lamp. The Ignitek 360W Protected lamp also features superior maintained lumens. It provides approximately 22 % more light than standard 400W metal halide lamps and approximately 10 % more light than comparable 400W metal halide protected lamps designed for use in open fixtures. Maintenance costs are reduced by extending the lamp replacement cycle and delaying costly replacement.

The super high lumen output Ignitek 400W Protected lamp is one of the highest initial and maintained lumen output 400W metal halide protected lamps sold in the North American market. Operating on standard CWA 400W metal halide ballast, the lamp provides approximately 42% higher lumen maintenance than standard 400W universal metal halide lamps and approximately 28% higher lumen maintenance than comparable 400W metal halide lamps for use in Open Fixtures.

With patented Iwasaki features such as a built-in Ferro-Electric Capacitor (FEC) Ignitor and unique electrode design, the Ignitek 360W and 400W lamps delay electrode deterioration; hard starting, end darkening and voltage rise to provide high lumen maintenance.

The high quality Ignitek 360W and 400W lamps boast up to a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.
