| Hitachi introduces a new line of generators Hitachi Power Tools announced its newest offering - a complete line of generators designed to meet power needs on the jobsite. The Hitachi E43 (8 HP), E60 (11 HP) and E71 (13 HP) generators are powerful, compact and dependable, designed to service anyone from trim teams with fewer power needs through framing crews with high power demands. Appropriate power for the application is the objective when selecting a generator. Hitachi now offers three models that suit different power requirements. Hitachi’s E43 offers 4, 300 Watts and 35.8 Amps, providing sufficient power to operate multiple tools. Hitachi’s E60 offers 6, 000 Watts and 50 Amps, providing substantial power to operate numerous tools on a jobsite. Finally, Hitachi’s E71 offers 7, 100 Watts and 59.2 Amps to provide enough power for almost any needs on a jobsite. Each generator features four 120V, 20Amp Grounded Fault Interrupter (GFCI) receptacles for safe operation in outdoor environments and a 120-Volt 30Amp twist lock (two on the E60 and E71) for flexibility and prevention of power supply interruption. They all come with a 120V/240V outlet (20Amp on the E43 & 3.0Amp on the E60 & E71). Easy transport is a key requirement designed into each of the new generators from Hitachi. Rugged mobility carts surround the generators and facilitate manageable single person transport. The carts are equipped with oversized tires that roll easily and navigate well on muddy or rough terrain. Weighing 157 lbs (E43), 181 lbs (E60) and 201 lbs (E71), the mobility carts are compactly designed for quick and easy maneuvering of the generator around the jobsite and during transport and storage. Each cart also offers a convenient lift hook for optional movement of the generator around the jobsite by means of a forklift or on-site equipment. The E43, E60 and E71 feature easy-to-use control panels located on the side of the generator. The switches and receptacles are well spaced and protected by the durable cart frames and molded faceplates. Brushless alternators provide consistent, dependable power and are maintenance free. This new line of generators from Hitachi reflects the aggressive ergonomic design being implemented by Hitachi Power Tools. Hitachi is pioneering yet another new trend in the industry- tools that incorporate the latest technology with ergonomic design- a look that will modernize the traditional shop or jobsite. write your comments about the article :: © 2005 Construction News :: home page |
