This patented clip enables installers to adapt either of these high-performance ceilings directly onto any standard 15/16-inch metal suspension system and enhance the ceiling's acoustical performance in high-profile areas without adding new ceiling grid.The clip is an ideal solution for replacing ceilings located in lobbies, offices, retail spaces, health care facilities and educational environments. Eliminating the need to remove an old ceiling not only saves money, but allows renovators to begin installing the new ceiling system immediately. As a result, the building owner or tenant can sport a showcase ceiling in almost as much time as it would have taken to remove the old one. In addition, the elimination of debris associated with ceiling removal enables other renovation projects, such as painting or carpeting, to proceed more quickly. Installation of the new ceiling panels is relatively simple.
