| New line of color concentrates for wood-plastic composites Hudson Color Concentrates is announcing the introduction of its EverWoods™ line of color concentrates. The new line has been specifically formulated for use with wood-fiber/plastic composite materials, and is currently available in six standard wood-tone colors or can be custom matched to meet a processor’s specific color requirement. EverWoods™ concentrates are designed for use with wood-plastics composites material, which combine wood fibers with commonly used thermoplastic resins such as PET, PVC, PP, PS and ABS. The line is particularly attractive to many wood industry processors wanting to transition production of traditionally wood-only or wood/metal products to the wood-fiber/plastics composites. EverWoods™ concentrates are ideal for wood/plastics composites applications requiring dimensional stability and reduced warping, long-term durability with no fading or staining, and impact resistance.
