| New Ceramacast™ 575N Aremco offers the most expansive range of ceramic-based materials used for the production of high power, high temperature electrical devices as well as high temperature fixtures, molds and tooling. These materials, based on alumina, magnesia, silica, zirconia, and silicon carbide ceramics, offer unique properties with respect to operating temperature, thermal conductivity and dielectric and mechanical strength. Ceramacast™ 575N is a fine-grain, alumina-filled, ceramic compound ideal for potting high temperature electrical components including heaters, vacuum feed-thrus, PTC devices, rheostats, and temperature sensors. Material properties include a temperature resistance to 3000°F(1650 ºC), dielectric strength of 150 Volts/Mil, compressive strength of 11, 800 psi, and excellent moisture and chemical resistance. Ceramacast™ 575N is supplied in powder form and is mixed in a ratio of 100 parts powder to 13-15 parts water. It is easily dispensed thru pressurized dispensing equipment and hydraulically sets in 16 hours at room temperature and cures fully at 250°F in 1-2 hours.
