| New thermal insulation standard for aluminium windows The architectural desire for maximum transparency, design creativity and thermal insulation can now be realised with a single system. With a larger insulating area, an innovative centre seal and new thermal insulation in the glazing rebate, the Royal S 75.HI+ window leads the way in thermal insulation. In response to ever-rising thermal insulation standards in northern Europe, Sch?co has developed an aluminium window in Uf class 1.4. This means that the metal profiles are thermally insulated to the same standard as PVC-U windows and exceed the insulation provided by ordinary timber windows. They thereby combine the highest thermal insulation standards with the familiar advantages of aluminium – notably its stability and durability, as well as the very narrow sightlines that can be achieved using metal windows and the wide variety of design options available. Thermal insulation in the Royal S 75.HI+ window has been enhanced by deeper foam-filled insulating bars. The effectiveness of the centre seal when compared with other HI systems has been improved still further and thermal insulation in the glazing rebate has been considerably enhanced by a special insulating gusset. The high level of insulation is achieved with a basic depth of only 75 mm, which means that the system can be flexibly combined with the Royal S 75.HI aluminium door. The new window is available in different internal and external colours. It can also be fitted with the latest concealed mechanical or mechatronic fittings and so meets the highest standards not only for thermal insulation but also for design and convenience. write your comments about the article :: © 2005 Construction News :: home page |
