| Multi-purpose coolant for cutting & grinding performance Valenite and its ValCOOL product lineup of specialty cutting fluids and coolants, introduces its new VNT-755 semi-synthetic formula that delivers outstanding performance in a wide range of both cutting and grinding applications. The lubricant concentrate is an ideal choice for general purpose machining and for working with an array of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The VNT-755 is rated for moderate to heavy-duty operations and can be used for cutting applications such as turning, milling, reaming, drilling, and tapping, plus I.D. and O.D. grinding jobs in addition to centerless grinding work. The lubricant is well suited for cast, nodular, malleable as well as gray iron, carbon steels, cast steel, high speed and stainless steels, and alloy steels…and non-ferrous aluminum, brass, copper and bronze materials. The VNT-755 product consists of natural and synthetic emulsifiers, plus a chlorinated extreme pressure (EP) lubricant that improves cooling properties while helping to resist chip weldment to the cutting edge. VNT-755 also contains a ValCOOL patented biostable microbial control package that controls rancidity through protection against bacterial and mold, making the fluid highly stable with long tank life and minimizes the need for supplemental sump additives. The formula offers excellent foam control even in soft water (less than 125 ppm, total) to help prevent overflows and spills. Minimal foaming also assures that cooling and lubricating efficiency levels are maintained to protect parts and tools. VNT-755 also incorporates superior rust inhibitors that help protect ferrous parts and machine components from in process and post-process rusting, plus corrosion and stain preventatives for non-ferrous material applications. The compound is easy to maintain and control, and is waste treatable following standard fluid treatment procedures…VNT-755 is suitable for recycling and reuse. VNT-755 is available non-dyed or with blue coloring agents, and shipped in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, or in 300-gallon returnable or 220-gallon disposable (recyclable and biodegradable) bulk containers. The concentrate is designed to be dilute with water in a 1:20 to 1:10 ratio, depending upon operation severity. write your comments about the article :: © 2005 Construction News :: home page |
