| Stroke of Genius from NETZSCH: The MiniVac – Vacuum-De-Aerator for Small Batches The laboratory De-aerator MiniVac is the newest member in the extensive laboratory machine program of NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH. Micronized gas and air pockets in liquids with a broad range of viscosity from very low to highly viscous pastes are removed with the MiniVac. Depending on the product viscosity, a continuous operation with throughput rates of 25 – 250 kg/h without additional feeding pump can be attained. The machine was specially developed for small batches or product development and works – same as the NETZSCH-Vacuum-De-Aerator for production – according to the VTR principle (Vacuum-Thin layer-Rotational procedure). Vacuum in the de-aeration chamber draws the product into the center of the rotating bowl. The bowl speed is adjustable via frequency inverter. Centrifugal force spreads the product over the inner surface of the rotating bowl. De-aeration is accomplished by creation of a thin film on the bowls inner surface and vacuum in the chamber. The product is discharged out of the machine via a product pick-up pipe located in the outer area of the rotor. The MiniVac is distinguished by very easy handling. Operating the machine is facilitated by the adjustable tank position. Further advantages of the vacuum de-aerator are easy cleaning and maintenance. The laboratory machine MiniVac can be used in food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, paint and chemical industries. write your comments about the article :: © 2005 Construction News :: home page |
