Future Processing to present a ‘better future’ for medicine

Gliwice, Poland – 4th July 2018 – Future Processing is launching the second edition of Better Future – an educational platform aimed at researchers and business people interested in technology. The purpose of the platform is to promote solutions based on Artificial Intelligence in the medical sector and to address technological challenges like automation and diagnostic process improvement. Further sectors will be added to the platform in the coming months.

The platform is run by Future Processing’s experts in Machine Learning. The experts, many of whom have scientific degrees, wrote a series of articles sharing knowledge on new technologies and innovative solutions which revolutionise the world of science. Better Future also includes detailed descriptions of Future Processing’s achievements in the field of AI.

The Future Processing team is not new to the world of medicine and science. Together with the Institute of Oncology in Gliwice, Poland, Future Processing launched an R&D medical imaging project called ECONIB (Enhancing the diagnostic efficiency of dynamic Contrast-enhanced imaging in personalised Oncology by extracting New and Improved Biomarkers) whose aim is to significantly improve cancer care. Another project carried out by Future Processing is Cardio4D – a computational platform aimed at improving efficiency of medical imaging in patients with coronary artery disease.

Apart from this, Future Processing has been developing its Machine Learning skills and successfully applying its knowledge in a variety of fields, beyond the medical sector. One of such projects is CIVICO – a solution that enables to transform a traditional surveillance system into a Smart Surveillance System. Another example is Alpha which allows for anonymous analysis of interests among customers visiting a shop or a shopping centre. Alpha takes account of a customer’s age, sex and duration of visit.

Future Processing’s mission is to change the world for the better and to make impact on society by delivering advanced technological solutions.
