Business Data Provider Rhetorik Solutions Expands through Management Buy-out
Wokingham, UK – 26th July, 2017 - Rhetorik Solutions, a sales and marketing intelligence platform company supporting technology and telecoms vendors, today announced that it has been acquired by a team of UK and North American data-technology focused investors, who invested alongside members of Rhetorik’s management team led by Rhetorik Founder Richard Foskett. The buy-out will support Rhetorik’s growth plans in the sales intelligence sector as more companies increase their purchases of data to improve their sales and marketing performance.
“Since being founded in 1994, Rhetorik has been known for the quality of its data in the telecom, hardware and software industries. Following this investment, we will expand our data gathering and analytics capabilities to create new products for technology sales and marketing professionals worldwide, ” said Meredith Amdur, Rhetorik’s newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer in announcing the acquisition.
Rhetorik’s data products rely on its in-house research efforts as well as curated data feeds from partners. As part of the buy-out, Rhetorik will be expanding the range of sectors that it supports to reflect the latest trends in IT sales, and also providing new value added products such as better integration into CRM and marketing automation platforms.
Leading members of the executive team at Rhetorik include:
• Meredith Amdur, CEO. Most recently CEO at WANTED Technologies prior to its acquisition by CEB, Meredith has held leadership roles with Microsoft, Deloitte and Informa.
• Ian Delisle, CTO. Previously, Ian held roles as Head of IT Development, Data Analytics and Tools at CEB and was a Co-Founder of WANTED Technologies
• Ash Walia, Head of Sales. Ash has led sales for Rhetorik for more than a decade.
• Tim Baskerville, Chairman. Tim has held multiple leadership roles in the information and media sectors; most recently with HG Data and WANTED Technologies. He was formerly CEO of JupiterResearch.
