Aquaterra Leisure Deploys Interxion Secure Data Service

Interxion has implemented a Secure Data Service (SDS) at Aquaterra Leisure's Headquarters in London. SDS provides online back-up and disaster recovery services for Aquaterra, a charity specialising in the provision of leisure services on behalf of Local Authorities.

SDS is used to back up Aquaterra Leisure's critical business data, including shared documents, managers' mailboxes, membership records, payroll and payment details held on the company's SQL server. Previously tapes were backed up off-site, but Aquaterra were concerned about the lack of fail-safe security built into the system, as well as recurring costs; this prompted them to research alternatives.
