Internap Makes European Data Centre Connections with Interxion

Interxion announces that Internap Network Services Corporation, a US-based provider of end-to-end internet business solutions, has expanded its presence in both Interxion's London and Amsterdam data centres. Since becoming a customer less than a year ago, Internap has doubled its footprint in the Interxion London facility in response to a sharp rise in customer demand.

The Interxion London data centre provides 2N redundancy configurations as well as high power density of up to 20kW per cabinet. It also hosts a Point of Presence for the London Internet Exchange (LINX), providing a connectivity-rich environment for customers.

Internap offers its 3,700 enterprise clients a complete package of high-performance IP networking, data centre colocation, and content delivery network (CDN) services. They have 44 data centre locations around the world and a global, route-optimized network infrastructure. Internap deploys patented MIRO (Managed Internet Route Optimiser) technology to enhance customer data communications. MIRO monitors the performance of Internet backbones and automatically selects the best path to global destinations, thus providing maximum reliability and low-latency data and content delivery.
