AdaCore Announces GNAT Tracker Version 2.0

AdaCore has announced the release of GNAT Tracker 2.0, an enhanced version of the company's web server designed to provide seamless interaction between customer development teams and AdaCore's worldwide team of expert support engineers.

GNAT Tracker is a secure, web-based interface that allows GNAT Pro subscribers to monitor their individual account information, submit and track questions (tickets) relating to the use of GNAT Pro or Ada, view the complete history of these tickets, and easily download answers or resolutions to issues raised. GNAT Tracker uses certificate-based encryption for all material, whether uploaded or downloaded, ensuring maximum security for customer data. GNAT Tracker allows customers to be in contact with AdaCore 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The enhancements to GNAT Tracker were heavily guided by customer input and opinions. Based on this feedback, AdaCore redesigned the user interface to specifically address requests for easier navigation of the support portal. The resulting interface now has a cleaner, more modern, look and feel. It also offers a streamlined enquiry and response process for all project related questions. Both managers and developers alike will find GNAT Tracker 2.0 easy to navigate, and especially helpful in quickly bringing new staff up to speed.

GNAT Tracker 2.0 enhancements include:
· Improved, user-friendly design providing easier information retrieval;
· A redesigned 'dashboard' providing a quick overview of the customer account;
· Seamless, 24/7 access to expert support to help customers resolve problems rapidly;
· Additional details about the status of customer tickets, development versions and downloads allowing for rapid integration of new technology;
· Access to AdaCore's Developer Center directly via the dashboard, where customers can find the latest news on AdaCore, GNAT Pro technology, technical papers, and code samples;
· Direct access to Ada programmers/students looking for internship opportunities.
