NetQoS Expands European Operations

NetQoS is expanding its European operations by establishing a direct sales presence in the UK. NetQoS is the fastest growing network performance management vendor, with more than 100 percent year-on-year revenue growth since 2002 and more than 600 customers worldwide.

To build on this growth, NetQoS has appointed Paul O'Reilly to drive its European expansion and lead its new UK sales team, based in Reading. O'Reilly, who has more than 10 years experience in the IT networking industry, will also work closely with existing European channel-partners to support the European launch of the NetQoS Performance Center product suite.

NetQoS advocates a performance first approach to network management, rather than a strict fault management approach, to improve delivery of networked applications. This approach, manifested in the NetQoS Performance Center, provides visibility into all the key metrics necessary to quantify network infrastructure performance, starting with end-to-end response time measurement, and drilling down into traffic flows and device availability, as necessary.

The NetQoS Performance Center provides a centralised Web-based console that integrates and presents data from NetQoS product modules—SuperAgent for end-to-end performance monitoring, ReporterAnalyzer for Cisco IOS NetFlow and IPFIX traffic reporting and analysis, and NetVoyant for device performance management—to help enterprises to be more effective in network troubleshooting, service level management and capacity planning. It is targeted at large enterprises, government agencies, and managed service providers.
