Axesstel Announces PX100 Series Fixed Wireless Phones

Axesstel has announced the PX100 Series CDMA2000 1X Fixed Wireless Desktop Phones designed for first-time home phone users in developing countries worldwide looking to establish access to voice calling and text messaging services.

Axesstel's PX110 (450 MHz), PX120 (800 MHz) and PX130 (1900 MHz) phones enable telecommunications operators worldwide to provide quick and easy access to quality voice and text messaging services with customized design and enhanced functionality that meets the diverse needs of their customers. The PX100 series features a slim, compact and modern design with a keypad and LCD display backlight for easy dialing day or night. A built-in battery ensures reliable communication in virtually any environment. It offers a multitude of enhanced features such as polyphonic ring tones, speaker phone, one-touch dialing, caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding and three-way calling to offer greater convenience and flexibility. An FM radio with 10 station pre-sets can be added as an option to further enhance the user experience.

The PX100 series will be in homologation testing with operators in January. The products will be available in limited quantities in February and will be generally available in April.
