Cisco Systems and Cisco Press Celebrate 10-Year Partnership

Cisco Systems and Cisco Press celebrate 10 years of developing and publishing Cisco certification and network technology self-study materials. The publishing partnership between Cisco Systems and Pearson Education created Cisco Press in 1996, and the imprint has published more than 400 titles.

Cisco Press is authorized by Cisco Systems as the official publisher of learning resources for the Cisco Networking Academy Program and self-study materials for Cisco certifications and Cisco technologies. Leading authorities from Cisco Systems and other industry innovators write and contribute to the titles and series that make up the Cisco Press product family. Products from Cisco Press are part of a recommended learning path from Cisco Systems that combines instructor-led training with hands-on distance learning instruction and self-study.

Technologies have become increasingly advanced and integrated since the inception of the Cisco Press, which has evolved its publishing program to meet the expanded educational needs of its customers. The current program delivers an assortment of certification preparation tools such as Exam Certification Guides, Flash Cards and CCIE Professional Development titles, as well as network technology titles including the First-Step, Network Business, and Fundamentals series. Cisco Press designs self-study materials to suit multiple styles of learning, penned by authors who are experts in their fields.

In its 10th year, Cisco Press is venturing into new realms of electronic publishing with a CCNA Video Mentor product, eBooks, and Digital Shortcuts.
