Camiant Content Delivery Application Manager

Camiant has announced availability of its Content Delivery Application Manager to enable flawless media delivery experiences over Internet Protocol (IP) networks. This new product complements Camiant's policy control solutions for control across a variety of applications.

The Content Delivery Application Manager extends Camiant's ability to provide operators with the tools needed to deliver flawless experiences across myriad applications. Its introduction complements the existing Camiant PCMM product suite, including: Camiant's Policy Server Platform, which enables operators to prioritize service delivery based on subscriber request, application requirements and network capacity; the Bandwidth on Demand Application Manager, which allows subscribers to access a service portal providing real-time control over bandwidth speeds; and the SIP Application Manager, which enables the integration of quality of service (QoS) controls for Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) environments.

The Camiant Content Delivery Application Manager provides unprecedented control for a distributed content delivery network, including the ability to:
- Deliver high definition video content over IP infrastructures with QoS ensuring quality television viewing experiences;
- Enable subscribers to download any form of media quickly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction;
- Integrate with subscriber entitlement database to authorize content;
- Deliver distributed content reliably and with the ability to scale over time.
