Connect Tech.'s Radio Modems for PC/104 Applications

Connect Tech is adding wireless radio modems to its line of communications equipment. Available in 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies, the Xtreme/104 Radio Modem cards will add robust wireless data communications to your PC/104 applications. They offer superior immunity to electrical noise, jamming and multipath fading, making them ideal for even the noisiest industrial and factory environments. Built with Cirronet’s patented frequency hopping spread spectrum technology (FHSS), the modems continuously use a rapid 24-bit cyclic redundancy check and automatic repeat request mechanism to ensure seamless, error-free delivery.

These boards are FCC certified and license-free, ready to use in your application. They require no additional driver support, appearing as a standard COM port to your operating system.

The PC/104 card offers jumper selectable I/O addresses and IRQ interrupts in addition to UART controlled RTS/CTS hardware flow control. They are well suited for applications in industrial and factory automation, oil and gas applications, the medical industry and traffic control systems, among others.
