Avaya as 2005 Supplier of the Year

Avaya Inc. announced today that JPMorgan Chase has honored Avaya as the 2005 Supplier of the Year after achieving the highest score in a worldwide vendor assessment. Highlighting Avaya's leading communication solutions and services, the company surpassed all metrics set for service level agreements, according to the global financial services company.
Avaya was nominated by JPMorgan Chase employees from around the world and selected from thousands of suppliers. The JPMorgan Chase Supplier of the Year award recognizes excellence in quality, integrity, innovation and value.
"The JPMorgan Chase Supplier of the Year award recognizes the best of the best", said Bill Patrizio, Chief Procurement Officer at JPMorgan Chase. "Our suppliers play a key role in making us a successful financial services company with customers around the world. As a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services, Avaya supports more than 2, 300 JPMorgan Chase offices in 33 countries. The financial services giant uses technology from the Avaya MultiVantange() Communications Applications portfolio, which includes IP telephony, messaging, contact center and mobility solutions -- all backed by a global service agreement. An agreement with Avaya Global Services established service levels and provided JPMorgan Chase with a single-point of-contact responsible for monitoring the company's communications operations around the clock.
