BT to deliver and manage global IP network

BT today announced that it hassigned an agreement to provide global IP-based network services to Infor, Atlanta-headquartered global provider of enterprise business solutions toselect manufacturing and distribution industries. Under the terms of thecontract, BT will provide MPLS network services to 60 Infor sites in the U.S., Europe, and Asia/Pacific.
Mike Starr, Infor chief information officer, said: "We believe BT is theright provider for Infor's global requirements because of their worldwidereach, robust network infrastructure, and deep expertise in secure, network-centric solutions."

"BT is making majorinvestments in our networks for the 21st century, bringing IT andcommunications together and developing networks and converged services thatdeliver innovative new services to our customers which will support theirgrowth in the digital networked economy."
