LSI's high-availability storage solutions

LSI Logic Corporation today announced that storage systems from its Engenio StorageGroup are now certified Solaris Ready within the Sun Cluster Open StorageProgram. By meeting these requirements, customers can be assured that Engeniostorage products are fully interoperable with the Solaris 10 OperatingSystem (OS). This certification allows customers to design a storageinfrastructure utilizing Sun Cluster software and Sun Fire Servers thattakes advantage of the high availability of Engenio storage systems formission critical applications.

Engenio storage arrays include online storage management, automated pathfailover, redundant, hot-swappable components and mirrored cache with batterybackup for the utmost in availability. By providing a storage infrastructurepopulated with Engenio storage systems and Sun Cluster software, IT managerscan realize superior application and system uptime. Sun Cluster improvesservice levels for mission-critical applications by providing continuousnetwork, data and service availability.
