DEMO 2006 conference partners with PodTech.net

Always a forerunner in using new technologies, the DEMO conference has partnered with PodTech.net to expand its reach into the growing number of people who listen to audio files downloaded from the Web. PodTech.net -- a pioneering high tech podcasting and distribution network that consists of the InfoTalk podcast and a leading 30-plus channel podcasting network on iTunes -- is partnering with DEMO in order to provide early stage demonstrator companies access to the powerful podcast communications medium as well as the 50 million iPod users.

DEMO 2006 is an intimate executive conference made up of approximately 700 technology industry insiders. Recognizing that there is a tremendous audience of people across the nation and the world interested in hearing news of the DEMO conference and its carefully vetted class of emerging technology products, DEMO and PodTech.net will work together to develop and syndicate valuable content focused on the new product introductions. Available via DEMO.com, PodTech.net, and iTunes, these podcasts can add meat to radio station's technology coverage, inform broadcasters of the latest in technology product news, and entertain those listeners around the globe who wish they could be at DEMO.

"We forged this partnership to help our demonstrators extend their message beyond the physical event of DEMO. By leveraging DEMO.com and PodTech.net's distribution channels, we will enlarge and enrich our DEMO community, " said Neal Silverman, executive vice president of Network World Events and Executive Forums. "Radio producers and online media publishers are in tremendous need of substantial content to feed the insatiable demand of their news-aware audiences. We're pleased to help meet that need with these information-packed PodTech.net podcasts that relay the excitement and news-value of the DEMO conference."

John Furrier's PodTech.net tracks the hottest companies, news, events, executives and VCs in Silicon Valley. "PodTech.net and DEMO share the goal of producing great, professional content that helps the technology industry share, learn and grow. I look forward to bringing the best of DEMO 2006 to the growing PodTech.net audience, " said Furrier. "For corporations, the PodTech network is an innovative channel for reaching new users and leveraging the fastest growing platform -- the iPod.
