Janya joins Google Enterprise Program

Janya, a leading provider of information extraction and text analytics technologies to the government, today announced it has joined the Google Enterprise Professional program, which extends the power of Google search and helps customers get added value out of their Google enterprise search deployments.

The Google Enterprise Professional program includes developers, consultants and independent software vendors that provide value-added services for Google enterprise products. The integration will enable government enterprises using Google's search to access advanced filtering and searching features provided by the Semantex text analytics engine from within the familiar Google search interface. This will provide analysts with the ability to further refine their search by exploiting metadata that Semantex provides, such as entities, attributes, relationships and events.

"Google is excited to have Janya as a partner in the Google Enterprise Professional program. We're looking forward to bringing the combined power of Google search and Semantex text analytics technology to users, " said Kevin Smith, program manager for Google Enterprise Professional.

"Google's enterprise search products offer the same quality search experience as people get with Google.com. The combined solution of the Google Search Appliance and Janya's Semantex text analytics engine delivers scalable advanced information discovery solutions to users in the DoD, intelligence and law enforcement communities, " said Dr. Rohini Srihari, CEO of Janya.
