Renovo software releases video scheduler

Renovo Software, the video management software company, announced the successful upgrade of its existing customers and the general availability of Video Scheduler. Video Scheduler is a technology and vendor neutral scheduling, automation and management solution. Renovo Software enlisted eight customers, including three statewide distance learning networks, to conduct beta-testing for its newest release.

"Video Scheduler's reliability and ease of use are directly attributable to having great customers with demanding video networks that are willing to provide feedback and extensive testing, " said Tim Skaja, Managing Partner and CTO of Renovo Software. "Renovo's latest release incorporates significant input and feature requirements from existing customers while fully leveraging the powerful administration and automation tools from our video broadcast and video visitation products."

Renovo's customers utilize Video Scheduler's flexibility and scalability to meet the policies and autonomy requirements for their specific video network. Video Scheduler allows end-users to schedule on-demand or future videoconferences through a secure web-based scheduling interface. At the scheduled time, Video Scheduler fully automates the conference set-up and tear-down without user interaction. Through the web interface Video Scheduler offers authorized users real-time conference control. Video Scheduler's administration modules are used by organizations for real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring and billing. Video Scheduler offers a variety of reports, including network statistics, reservation details and calendar views. Reports may be printed or saved in various formats for easy distribution and ROI presentations.

Video Scheduler is deployed for various applications, including Distance Learning, Video Conferencing, Court Room Arraignment, Tele-Justice and Tele- Medicine. Renovo's Video Scheduler is vendor- and technology-neutral and automates the following device types: H.32x CODECS, MPEG 2 & 4 (H.264) CODECS, MCUs, Gateways, Digital Cross Connects and A/V Routers.

"We are pleased to release our latest solution making scheduling and managing multi-vendor networks easier than ever. We are equally as excited to introduce new packages and price structures which make it cost-effective for small networks to deploy the high-end video network management solutions for which Renovo Software is known, " said Tim Eickhoff, Managing Partner and Sales Director of Renovo Software.
