Hybrid Festival Szczecin Jazz 2021 Begins Today with US Media Partner JazzCorner Szczecin Jazz will host Europe’s first hybrid jazz festival of the year running February 25 through March 4, 2021. This seven day event will include a nightly performance in Szczecin, Northwestern Poland's largest city, featuring an audience in person, and online. The international roster of performers include Belmondo Quintet, Alexander Beets, Logan Richardson and the Jazz Forum Talents, and more. The festival will be accessible via the Szczecin Jazz Facebook Page, and via Jazz in Europe free of charge. In addition to presenting the festival, Szczecin Jazz has partnered with JazzCorner to broadcast the festival to American audiences, and the Jazzed app in the UK. JazzCorner will stream the following performances from the Szczecin 2021 schedule: The Belmondo Quintet on Thursday, February 25nd at 2pm EST The Alexander Beets Quartet featuring Ellister van der Molen on Monday, March 1, at 1pm EST The Jerzy Małek Quartet on Tuesday, March 2 at 2pm EST Bergcrantz - Ostrowski Unit, on Thursday, March 4 at 2pm EST. All performances, with the exception of the Belmondo Quintet, will then broadcast the day after initial airing on the Jazzed app, which is accessible in the UK. After an extensive period of live-music shutdown, Szczecin Jazz aims to inspire the global community of music lovers and revive the excitement of the ‘festival-feeling.’ By providing streaming opportunities around the globe, festival founder Sylwester Ostrowski is making this resurgence of live music accessible to the masses. “We are so fortunate to have JazzCorner partnered with us to make Szczecin 2021 a true, global music festival, ” Ostrowski shares. “I am thrilled to know that viewers from all over will be relishing in the sweet return of jazz performance with me.” Szczecin Jazz operates under the mantra that ‘Jazz comes to you’.
